Why We Built Shadee (And Why It’s Web‑First)

We built Shadee because we genuinely loved Whisper—the honesty, the serendipity, the way real thoughts found each other without profiles or follower counts. When that space went quiet, nothing truly filled it. So we decided to bring it back with a modern, privacy‑first design.

Mobile is great. Desktop matters too.

Most anonymous apps focus only on phones. We wanted Shadee to feel native on iOS and Android and also be awesome at your computer—for those slow days at work, late‑night laptop sessions, or whenever a keyboard is just easier.

A web app that acts like a native app

Shadee is a Progressive Web App (PWA): open it, add it to your Home Screen, and it behaves like an app—quick launch, standalone UI, smooth navigation.

- iOS: open Safari → Share → Add to Home Screen. - Android: open Chrome → Install app (or Add to Home screen).

Everything you’re used to, plus more

You can still do everything you expect: post anonymously, discover what’s nearby or global, react, and reply—all without profiles or follower pressure. And now, you can do it from any device.
